CA: Green Candidate for Governor Kicks Off Campaign in Oakland

News Blaze reports on the kickoff event for Green Party gubernatorial candidate Laura Wells in Oakland California:
Oakland resident Laura Wells - who garnered nearly a half million votes in a 2002 run for State Controller - will hold a CAMPAIGN KICKOFF to announce she is running for the Green Party nomination for Governor MONDAY, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at La Estrellita Restaurant, 446 East 12th St. at 5th Ave.  Richmond Mayor Gayle McLaughlin, Fairfax Mayor Lew Tremaine and Vice-Mayor Larry Bragman - all Greens - will attend the kickoff Monday night.
