Steven Gerritzen, candidate for Florida’s 8th Congressional District is now a member of the Florida Whig Party and is seeking to unseat Democratic incumbent Alan Grayson. The announcement was made by party Chairman Paul Truesdell both in written and video formats. Steven Gerritzen (W) is running against controversial Democrat incumbent Alan Grayson who first took office in 2009 and is better known for his 2009 statement on the House floor speech comparing America’s health-care system to the Holocaust and his claims that "The Republican health care plan is this: 'Don't get sick, and if you do get sick, die quickly.”
