Members of the Libertarian Party of Utah will gather in Salt Lake City this weekend to recruit and train candidates for public office. In a news release, party officials say the group will meet Saturday at the Salt Lake City Library. Wayne Allyn Root, who was the 2008 Libertarian vice presidential candidate, is scheduled to address the gathering. Also on the agenda is a training session called "Running for Office 101."
