AR: Independent Continues Petition Drive for Senate

Trevor Drown, a former Green Beret who served in Afghanistan and is an independent candidate for the U.S. Senate, is to be in Mountain Home for a meet-and-greet today and to collect signatures for his candidacy petition. . . . He is a self-described Arkansas conservative.As an independent candidate, Drown must file a petition with the secretary of state to get on the ballot. He needs an estimated 10,000 signatures from registered voters across the state.
