NY: SP-NYC to Join Demonstration in Support of Public Education

On Thursday we will participate in the National Day to Defend Education demonstration. This is an important demonstration because it will bring together students from throughout NYC, as well as public workers such as the Transit Workers' Union and United Federation of Teachers. In addition, this local action is connected to a series of demonstrations, take-overs, and action of civil disobedience throughout the country.
