Via Genuine GOP Mom, a press release from Robert Allen Mansfield
Philadelphia, PA, 13 April, 2010: Robert Allen Mansfield, independent candidate for Pennsylvania’s Governorship, announces his economic plan for the people of Pennsylvania. According to Mr. Mansfield “If I was honored to be elected Governor of Pennsylvania this is what I would do:

1. Eliminate the State Property Tax \
2. Eliminate the State Personal Income tax
3. Institute a Fair Tax.
4. Lower the Corporate Income tax from 9.99% down to 1.25% with an eye toward phasing it out by 2016.
5. Shrink the 90 Boards, Agencies and Commissions down to 33, and cut across the Board 20% of the 33 Agencies that are left.
6. Pass a state constitutional amendment that Mandates that the Legislature can only spend 75% of Incoming tax revenue , thus saving 25% and using those savings to pay down our 12billion dollar debt ( Estimated )
7. Roll back state employee pensions to 2001 levels (Still honor our commitments to our Retirees)
8. Break Up the Teachers Unions
9. If a husband and wife works for the same district or city or township , Place them on one Healthcare Plan ( no more Double dipping )
10. Get the State out of the Pension Business.
11. Eliminate the Department of Environmental Protection (it kills jobs and destroys Business with Heavy handed tactics and Policies).

Robert Allen Mansfield (I) states that the “size and scope of the State Government has expanded so that the Commonwealth in the years to come will be bankrupt”.
