Five of Rhode Island's six gubernatorial candidates have accepted an invitation to participate in a forum on May 4th about reinvesting in women and families. Moderate Party candidate Kenneth J. Block, Democrat Frank T. Caprio, the state's general treasurer, Independent candidate and former U.S. Sen. Lincoln D. Chafee, Democrat and state Attorney General Patrick C. Lynch, and Republican John Robitaille have committed to participating in the forum sponsored by the Women's Fund of Rhode Island and the Poverty Institute.
