Former borough Green Party chairman Henry Bardel is taking another shot at Congress.
Bardel, 67, a Great Kills resident, said he will run on a host of issues, from the war on terror to the economy. "I plan to run a vigorous campaign because we are overwhelmed by wars, a poor health-care system, a deteriorating environment, a grossly lacking education system, 10 percent unemployment and an economy that's been in a downturn for more than two years," Bardel said. "We need new leadership and I think that I have some new ideas that can bring us into a recovery."
