CO: Support for Top Three Gubernatorial Candidates Drops

From Huffington Post:

Support for all three Colorado Gubernatorial candidates declined in Rasmussen's latest poll, but Democrat John Hickenlooper continues to hold a commanding lead over Republican Dan Maes and American Constitution Party Candidate Tom Tancredo. The poll, which surveyed 750 likely voters on August 29, showed Hickenlooper receiving 36% support to Maes's 24% and Tancredo's 14%. The undecideds (20%) are up 15% from a Rasmussen poll conducted earlier in August, when only 5% reported being undecided.

I actually did see that. Personally, I don't put much stock in analysis from the rabid two-party statist Republican ideologues at Red State, especially one that concludes he doesn't know what to believe. I think the most important point about the Rasmussen poll is the high number of undecided voters, which represents a major opportunity for Tancredo. In a similar vein, the many recent police brutality scandals in Denver and the apparent lying about having a law enforcement background by Maes, also create a new opening for Tancredo and Jaimes Brown, the Libertarian candidate. I think we have to assume that Tancredo's recent statements against the war on drugs and in favor of marijuana legalization are a way of reaching out to Denver voters, who basically decriminalized pot in the recent past.
