League of Women Voters Continues to Hold Inclusive, Open Debates

Friday night in St. Louis three of the four candidates who want to represent the St. Louis area in the third Congressional District took part in a public forum held at Forest Park Community College. The event was sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

Congressman Russ Carnahan, a Democrat, was joined by Republican candidate Ed Martin and Constitution Party candidate Nicholas Ivanovich. It was announced at the beginning of the evening that Libertarian Party candidate Steven Hedrick could not be in attendance.
