Rep. Steve King is the quasi-fascist head of the House Homeland Security Committee. If there is any police state measure that the likes of King would oppose, news of it has yet to come across our desks. In defense of the national security police state, and routine violations of constitutional rights and liberties, King defends the Patriot Act in a recent op-ed by arguing on the basis of fiction.
