SC: Multipartisan Forum Held for Candidates in CD-3

Eight candidates running to represent South Carolina's 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives made their respective cases at a two-hour forum at Clemson University Thursday night. The candidates - six Republicans, two Democrats and one from the Constitution Party - spoke to a full house at the Strom Thurmond Institute Jim Self Auditorium. The Clemson Area League of Women Voters sponsored the event. All the candidates are seeking to fill the seat which opened up after Republican U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett entered the South Carolina governor's race.
