The debate between the NYU College Republicans and College Democrats last night proved little, aside from the fact that the two college clubs communicate as poorly with each other as their Washington DC counterparts, both in a political and a social context. First, there was confusion over the debate time (apparently the Democrats thought that it was at 7 instead of 6), and then over the debate procedure. But the two political clubs did manage to agree on what the debate topics were — the Bush tax cuts and cap and trade.
